I Wish...

I could see you right now. To be in your arms. And to call you mine.

How Long An Hour Can Take, When You're Staring Into Open Space...

It's funny how short a time it takes for you to start missing someone, and how the time you spend with them always seem inadequate. It's also weird how I feel like I'm living a waking dream right now, with previously impossible scenarios being possible. It's funny, really... Hmmm... *takes a deep breath*

Life is, as they always say - beautiful, isn't it?

"How soft a whisper can get
When your're walking through a
Crowded space
I hear every word being said
And I remember that everyday
I get a little bit closer to you

How long an hour can take
When you're staring into open space
When I feel I'm slipping further away
I remember that everyday
I get a little bit closer to you

These are the days
That I won't get back
I won't hear you cry
Or hear you laugh
And when it's quiet
And i don't hear a thing
I can always hear you breathe

You know there's nowhere else
I've wanted to be
Than be there when you needed me
I'm sorry too
But don't give up on me
And just remember that when you
Were asleep
I got a little bit closer to you"

To VAD

Today is my last day of work. And my feelings are those of melancholy and anticipation. Melancholy because I have to part with the people who I have spent the bulk of the past 3 months with. Most of us became good friends fast. The kind that will give you a lasting impression about life. Let me tell you about them.

Saifullah @ OKU @ Orang Kurang Upaya @ Cacat
He calls me "Cina mencirit". I still have no idea what mencirit means. I call him OKU (until he met an accident which left him semi-OKU - after that I thought it was just plain mean). He is my bitch partner at work. We get together and bitch about the undeserving assholes in office. The only one so far who pulled me aside and told me he will miss me - and that was the first time I've seen his serious side.

Mahathir @ Tok Guru
My mentor. He taught me how to fix actuators, store operations, production operations and where to smoke and when to do it. I practically tagged along with him everywhere during the first 2 weeks when I was still not used to the factory environment. The most dedicated of all the people. Dude, good luck having your first baby and congratulations. :)

Pak Lah @ Badawi
He sells really awesome one ringgit (YES ONE RINGGIT) mee and nasi lemak every morning at 10am when it's break time. Besides that, he'll be telling me dumb shit sex stories while working. I helped him at his station for a full week, toiling with him with packing. He picks up aluminum cans from garbage bins and sells them for extra money. And when he won a trip to Phuket during the company lucky draw, he sold the tickets away so that he could feed his 2 children. Frugal and dedicated, he changed the way I looked at these people.

Jin Tuck
The dude who sits in front of me in office. Nerdy looking as hell. He hels me print everything I need printed. He also printed a whole manual about Kanban and 5S so I could read about it. The dude who took me out to lunch and introduced me to the food in Nilai. The dude who helps me buy stuff from 7-11 when I'm not free. Sorry I stopped having lunch after the 3rd week - I just felt that breakfast was enough. Thanks for everything.

Ezam @ Super
A man with many words of wisdom. Always serious. Always metaphorical. You're like that old man sitting on a mountain - except maybe a hundred years younger. Thanks for the words and advice. I'll remember everyone of them, no matter how absurd. :)

Azlan
You're so outspoken you make the rest look like kindergarten kids. The only one willing to voice out grievances in front your bosses and make a ruckus when you think they're mistreating the assemblers. You're funny as hell and is kurang ajar as fuck. I admit - I hated you when I first came but when I got to know you, you're like the king of all the hantu-hantu.

Mad Duan @ Mad One
My smoking partner and number one comedian. One of those people with a laugh so infectious that they have to lock you in a room everytime you laugh. Too bad you FFK me in Genting because I swore I'd drag you on the spaceshot ride. :)

Guna @ Tarak Guna
Guna you memang tarak gunalah, Guna. Janji keling saja tau. He taught me everything about Assembly Line 4 - not a small feat considering that the line is huge. Gave me hands-on for all the large actuator assemblies. The first time I got my hands, shirt and pants dirty as hell. You made me feel like one of those gritty factory workers. And you taught me I need to work out my arms more because I can't carry anything in the line for shit.

Norihzam @ Bulat @ Budak Gay
Gay fucker who spends his weekends at Planet Hollywood. A lot of life stories from this nice fellow. Old as hell, talks like he's 16 years old. Time to get a girlfriend and get married bro? Steals my mints from me everyday. Hahaha In your words - Kalau ada jodoh kita akan bertemu lagi, bang.

And many, many, many, many more. If I continue writing, it'll take me 3 days and a whole lot more blog space. I'm sure no one would be interested in that. I'll miss you people - not in a gay way. Thanks for everything. I didn't expect this training to be so awesome. I started hoping that it would end soon but now I really don't want to leave...
